What a way to wrap up the year in Web3! The most significant industry event is just around the corner: Devcon. Next week, the Tenderly team will travel to Bangkok, the City of Angels, for its seventh edition.
Devcon is a non-profit event about the future of technology, computing, and society.
After much deliberation following the 6th Devcon edition in Bogota, the Ethereum community and Foundation opted for Bangkok, Thailand's capital and most populous city, bridging old and new with incredible architecture and infrastructure and a great place to welcome our global community.
We’re thrilled about this supreme gathering and the opportunity to connect with developers, dapp builders, and Web3 teams we’re close with from all corners of the ecosystem. Devcon is the place to be for those looking to drive the future of Ethereum, and we’re bringing our A-team for a full lineup of workshops, panels, talks, and events focused on streamlining and enhancing Web3 infrastructure and dapp development.
Oh, and there’s a special giveaway, so read on and find out what we have in store for this year’s Ethereum Developer Conference across Devcon Week of side events and long-awaited main event.
Why should you meet us in Bangkok?
Geared toward Ethereum's builders, creators, and thinkers who wish to improve this world, Devcon’s mission is to bring decentralized protocols, tools, and culture to the people and make Ethereum more accessible around the globe.
This year’s Devcon will focus on key topics for our growing and evolving industry. Over four dynamic days, from November 12-15, experts and industry leaders will share their thoughts, knowledge, and innovations across tracks such as core protocol, privacy, usability, real-world applications, applied cryptography, cryptoeconomics, security, Layer 2s, and developer experience of making it all happen.
As our ecosystem and community grew, so did Tenderly. We have heavily focused on networks over the past year. We couldn’t be more proud of the fact that we integrated over 25 networks, going from optimistic rollups based on both OP stack and Arbitrum’s Nitro to opening support for ZK-powered chains and several Layer 1s.
We’re not stopping there, with many more new and existing networks in our pipeline by the end of the year. This is why our A-team coming to Devcon will include our team members who drove those network integrations. You’ll be able to meet our Co-founder Bogdan, Strategic and lead network BD Nevena, Network and VM lead Pavle, our Dev Rel Nenad, and Marketing lead Nikola.
If you are interested in hearing more about our network integration process, have already launched or plan to launch an EVM network, or have any questions on how Tenderly can help you build and scale with ease with full-stack infrastructure for the entire dapp lifecycle, Devcon is the ideal opportunity to reach out and meet!
Catch us at the following events!
The focus of Devcon has always been on its main event. That will be our main focus as well, and you’ll be able to find us there, but we’ll also take part in and visit several other notable industry side events. Here’s the list of some of our activities:
- DeFi Security Summit - DeFi Security Summit is the leading annual DeFi security conference for security researchers, developers, and academics in the blockchain space. In the week before Devcon, during three days between November 7-9, you’ll be able to hear from the world's leading security researchers, auditors, and hackers on how they are working to make blockchain safer. Join us on November 8th in the Workshop stage for Nenad’s workshop: Streamlining CI and staging in dapp development.
- SEALnet War Room Games - We’re stoked to announce that we’ll be hosting another War Room Games! Because it’s during Devcon, it deserves to be a special edition. For the first time ever, we’ve teamed up with our friends from Security Alliance (SEAL) to host this highly competitive hackathon in the heart of Southeast Asia. Register now while there are still a few open slots and secure your position in this unique and esteemed hacking competition!
- EVM Summit - Back in its mini edition, and not only during but as part of Devcon, it is the event where researchers and thought leaders share their views and dive into various aspects of improving Ethereum's execution environment and engine, the EVM. Don’t miss Pavle’s lightning talk: Unpacking EOF: Applications in Developer Infrastructure and Tooling,” which will take place on STAGE 3 (Fabrics).
- L2Con - The Epic Web3 team has been doing great work organizing industry-leading side events at major community conferences. At Devcon7, we’re supporting the L2Con. You’ll be able to hear Bogdan discuss Web3 infra during the panel "Infrastructure Insights: Emerging Challenges and Solutions” and meet our team members at the network-themed event on November 13th.
Alongside events we’ll take part in, there are many side events we’re eager to check out and meet our partners, friends, and community members.
It’s giveaway time!
